This book is Volume 1 in the series 4 - COLOR LESSONS. The lessons in this volume were developed to meet the needs of students in Grade Levels 1 to 3 - Students Learning to Read. The books in the 4 - COLOR LESSONS Series are designed for individual or small group instruction, and are ideal for Home-School settings. Sixteen lesson plans are provided as examples of 4 - COLOR LESSON Planning. These 4 - COLOR LESSONS present and emphasize some of the PREFERENCES and STRENGTHS that each COLOR brings to that particular learning event. In this way all of the learners can experience several strengths of each of the Color Styles in a safe, non-judgmental learning environment. The first eight (8) 4 - COLOR LESSONS focus on the following: Fiction Stories or Trade Books about "Little Critters" - These are living creatures that fit safely in the center of a small child's hand: Butterflies, Bugs, Worms, Frogs, Toads, and Insects would fit in this category. My story, "Three Grasshoppers" (Published through Create Space), is used as an example in these 4 - COLOR LESSONS. For the 4 - COLOR LESSONS nine (9) through sixteen (16) the overall theme is still "Little Critters" - with the emphasis on Scientific Facts.
