After The U.S. Cavalry massacred many Cheyenne and Sioux villages, Chief Sitting Bull and 2,000 Arapaho, Cheyenne and Sioux Indians finally massacred Lieutenant. Colonel George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry at the Little Bighorn in retaliation. Much of Sitting Bull's life is portrayed in the book.
