As Ike, his vicious wife, sons, and hired guns dog them at every turn, Sam, Lorena, and Asa will all have to outwit and outrun their pursuers.

Author Biography

Lee Martin learned about life in the Old West while growing up on cattle ranches. Martin combines a passion for writing with an enthusiasm for Westerns to create compelling and thrilling short stories, novels, and screenplays.

Martin's book, The Grant Conspiracy, was published to rave reviews in True West magazine. Martin's screenplay for Shadow on the Mesa was made into a Hallmark original movie starring Kevin Sorbo. It was the second-highest-rated and second-most-watched original movie in Hallmark's history. It also won the Wrangler Award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.

Martin has written and published forty-three short stories and nineteen Western novels.
