Author Biography

April Aasheim was the second oldest of six children. Her mother was a tarot card reader and a traveler, exposing April and her siblings to many different people, religions, and belief systems. April has a degree in social work. She also studied world religion, anthropology, astronomy, and literature. April considers herself a life-long learner and continues to educate herself on the subjects of ancient cultures, religion, psychology, and the supernatural. April currently resides in Oregon with her husband and children and her familiar: Boots the Cat. The Magick of Dark Root is her third novel.
