This prequel goes back twenty-two years before the first story begins. It gives a glimpse into the past lives of the characters in the first story; who they married, who they lost or when they were born. The prequel is full of conflict, danger, love, exciting hunts and sorrow, there is even a little humor. It is the story about the life of a Neanderthal clan with all the ups and downs of everyday life during the Ice Age.
Although this is a work of fiction, much of it could have taken place and I have tried to write a story that will engage the reader and entertain them. It is full of encounters and hunts for prehistoric animals such as: woolly rhinos, mammoths, muskoxen, bison, dire wolves, saber-toothed tigers, wild hogs, and others.
