by John E. Desautels (Author)

As a child, Desautels often had dreams that seemed significant, but he couldn't understand them. It wasn't until he joined an Edgar Cayce study group as an adult that he began to tap into the potential held within his inner self.

Unfortunately, things got worse before they got better-and before he understood his dreams.

Desautels lost his new job and found himself back in his old job, depressed and directionless. Turning in earnest to his dreams and meditation for guidance, he began to see a way forward.

Desautels came to experience first-hand Cayce's claim that every significant event in one's life is foreshadowed in a dream. Also, he learned that prophetic dreams don't always allow you to change the future, but when change isn't possible, they can help you prepare yourself for living through a hard experience with strength and courage.

With over forty years of life experience guided by his dreams, Desautels now shares how you can learn to use the same simple steps he follows-and change your own life for the better.

Kirkus Indie review says, "Readers of spiritual and self-help books will appreciate how Desautels frankly says that his dreams only point the way to action; in dreams regarding his diet or exercise routines, for example, he notes that the actual waking-world work is all up to him. This practical turn makes the book consistently rewarding. The intriguing story of how one man harnessed his dreams and changed his life." Author Biography

John E. Desautels is a man of dreams-both the metaphorical and the prophetic. He's also a man of action. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Vermont with a master's degree in mathematics from Ohio State University, he spent more than thirty years with the Eastman Kodak Company, serving in managerial positions. He was responsible for the development and implementation of complex software applications and workflow solutions.

Desautels was first introduced to the metaphysical concepts of Edgar Cayce prior to launching his career at Kodak. As he began practicing mediation and studying his own dreams, the everyday application of what he learned was as important to him as the philosophy. He learned how to use his dreams as guides to build a better future for himself and the people around him.

Now retired from Kodak, Desautels lives in Largo, Florida, where he writes and continues to study spirituality.
