Palmers migrated to Scotland and then went to Northern Ireland in the 1600s. In 1864, Scott's direct family came to New York through Castle Garden, and settled in the lower east side of Manhattan. In the 1930s, Walter Palmer (Scott's father) went to San Diego, California, from Brooklyn. This book is a historical overview based on factual records and information about Scott Palmer's paternal ancestors.
