The Path to Greatjoy is what you get when you combine a highly sought after emerging visual artist, and a writer who's also a self-actualisation coach. They've come up with a unique and impactful autobiographical art book, that is not only an account of an incredible journey to success but also a further expression of the art depicted.

The centre of the book is the life story of visual artist, Greatjoy Njabulo Ndlovu, better known as Greatjoy; and how he became a popular top selling and respected artist in Johannesburg. In this book he shares his hardships, his art journey and insights.

The writer, Ntsikelelo Mzibomvu, beautifully captures the positive and encouraging spirit of the artist and his art to connect the reader to the story. In addition, the book contains visuals of some of Greatjoy's post contemporary art pieces.

The book was launched on 26 April 2018, when Greatjoy held his first one man show at MMArthouse in Craighall, Johannesburg South Africa.

The book is effectively broken into three parts: the first part is how this book came about; the second part tells Greatjoy's story and the last part (consistent with his art and his show), is an inquiry into the difficulties that men face in modern society called 'The Alpha Male Inquiry'.

It is the hope of both the artist and the writer that this book will inspire men and the greater society to take the challenges that men face seriously and to help socialise and educate our young boys differently. This is a coffee table book is a must have in your art collection.
