Author Biography

Judy Ann Nock is the international bestselling author of The Modern Witchcraft Guide to Magickal Herbs, The Modern Witchcraft Guide to Crystal Magick, The Modern Witchcraft Guide to Runes, and The Modern Witchcraft Book of Natural Magick, among others. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and are enjoyed throughout the world. In addition to being an author, Nock is a musician, a metalsmith, a mom, and a practicing witch. She is best known for bringing modern witchcraft to the center of pop culture and high culture through a long-running series of book signings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Met Cloisters, as well as public appearances at San Diego Comic-Con International, New York Comic Con, and other festivals and conferences. She has been featured on numerous podcasts and in various media outlets including The New York Times, Country Living Magazine, Publishers Weekly, Yahoo Entertainment, Popverse, Refinery29, and The Guardian. She is a musician in St. Divine, Psych-O-Positive, and sings backup for Ivan Julian. She lives in New York City with her daughter and her cat, Annabelle.
