Greshem Whitaker is full of energy working in a museum in London, England as a young apprentice in 1923. Often his energy and quirky ways can be misunderstood, and this time it finds a breaking point when his boss sends him on a 1-year field assignment to the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee to investigate some peculiar findings. The comfort of his regular daily routine is thrown into a whirlwind of unexpected adventure when he starts his long journey to the Appalachian Mountains of the American Southlands.
