The hardest truth to face... is the one about yourself.
Brad Archer has spent years running from a truth he can barely admit to himself. After a traumatic sexual encounter in high school, Brad leaves for college hoping distance will silence the confusion and fear that have followed him for years. It doesn't. Dates with girls fall apart. Nightmares haunt his sleep. And the truth he's been trying to ignore refuses to stay hidden. As Brad struggles to understand who he really is, the people closest to him-including his loyal friends Chris and Laura-can only help so much. Sooner or later, Brad must face the question he's been avoiding his entire life. Who is he really? Tender and deeply honest, Thine Own Self is a powerful coming-of-age novel about identity, healing, and the courage it takes to live authentically. A heartfelt story for young adults, adults questioning their sexuality, and allies, this emotional journey explores the fear, vulnerability, and freedom that come with discovering who you truly are. Because sometimes the hardest person to be honest with... is yourself.Author Biography
