I can't tell you the last time I used the Pythagorean Theorem, but I can tell you that yesterday I bought a roll of stamps, mailed two envelopes, and called two doctors offices. Often, education does not include life skills such as recognizing a Toxic Relationship or What Are A Landlords Responsibility.

When my own children didn't know how to fill out a thank you envelope, I started asking the youth athletes that I worked with the same questions that I asked them. "What do you do if you get in a car accident?", "What Is A Credit Score?", "How Do You Open A Checking Account?" and they didn't know the answers.
