While he didn't share his innermost feelings with many people, he kept written journals for over forty-five years. Discovered in his belongings after Tam left us on January 2, 2014, these journals reveal a complex, conflicted man who only wanted to love and be loved. He longed for stability, a family, friendship, and a life of living in harmony with the natural world and all in it. Tam's wife of 20 years, Marianne Duffill Cox, spent over a year compiling the writings and pictures contained in this book. Working from Tam's handwritten notes, family history gleaned from his closest relatives, and assorted memories from many people, she has tried to create a lasting tribute to Tam for his family and friends.
