We still celebrate Jesus's birthday even two thousand years later, with gifts to each other, but we need to remember the real reason for all of it - the birth of our Lord and Savior. About the Author Glenda Owens works as an Administrative Assistant at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gloucester, Virginia. She has been married for forty-two years to her high school sweetheart. They have been blessed with one daughter, a son-in-law, and now are grandparents to a little girl. Charis. For many years, it has been her heart's desire to write a children's book.
