Author Biography

Jeanne is an Occupational Therapist who now specializes in craniosacral therapy. She spent many years working with children with sensory dysfunction, a passion of hers, as she grew up with sensory issues. When she was growing up however, no one understood these sensory differences. It wasn't until she was in college learning about sensory integration, that she realized Why she was "different". She was later introduced to craniosacral therapy, and realized that this form of treatment was a valuable approach to balancing the brain and body. This form of treatment goes well with the other methods she uses. She has been honored to work in this field, helping kiddo's and their families understand why they may function "differently". The more we understand sensory systems, the more we know why we do what we do. Kids don't try to push our buttons any more than we want to push theirs.
