She lives with her cat just outside of Philadelphia.
Stacey Schuett has written and illustrated dozens of picture books, including Somewhere in the World Right Now, Purple Mountain Majesties, and Marching with Aunt Susan, winner of Best Children's Books of the Year (starred) Bank Street College of Education 2012, and Teachers Choices, IRA 2012. Her well-loved books have won many awards, including the New York Public Library's One Hundred Books for Reading and Sharing Award, 2007.
