Donalyn Heise is an Art Education Consultant specializing in art for fostering resilience in students who have experienced trauma and Founder and Co-Director of Teacher Effectiveness for Art Learning (TEAL).

Adrienne D. Hunter is a pioneer in teaching art to in-crisis, at-risk, and incarcerated students and is Past President of the Special Needs in Art Education (SNAE) interest group within the National Art Education Association (NAEA).
