Author Biography
Marcia Rohrer is an educational consultant for Behavior Plus and a retired special education teacher with more than 24 years of experience working in resource classes, self-contained classes, and inclusion settings. She was a founding member of an innovative district-wide team of professionals providing services to parents and teachers of students on the autism spectrum. Marcia is a co-author of The 10 Critical components for Student Success in the Self-Contained Classroom, from which this book developed. She has presented numerous workshops and in-services to parents and educators throughout Texas.
Nanette Sampson has over 40 years of experience working in the field of special education in a variety of self-contained, resource, and inclusive settings and as an autism support specialist. Since retiring from public education, she has worked as an independent educational consultant under her company, NMS Services, and through Behavior Plus, Inc.
