Christine Dugan, M.A.Ed., is a former elementary school teacher and online curriculum product developer. After earning her Master's degree with an emphasis on language and literacy, Christine went on to become a writer and editor of educational curriculum. She has written numerous resources for Shell Education and Teacher Created Materials.
Brenda A. Van Dixhorn, M.A.Ed., has been working in the field of education for more than 20 years. Most of her teaching has been in the primary grades, but she has experience with early childhood through adult education. She now writes educational resources for teachers and students.
Jody Smith, M.A., has worked for over 30 years in education, as both as classroom teacher and more recently as an instructional coach for kindergarten through second grade teachers. She supports teachers in understanding why and how to implement the science of reading in their literacy instruction. In addition, Jody develops curriculum and has authored a wide range of resources that translate educational research into practical classroom strategies, including What the Science of Reading Says: Literacy Strategies for Early Childhood.
