What should have been a milestone, Abigail learning to eat, was a difficult challenge no one around her could relate to, including herself. As Abigail began to learn to talk she knew she had eating restrictions and needed to be safe, but it was difficult for Ami to find the words to explain to her at the young age "who she was" inside. So she wrote a book.
