The poems in this collections were written when the author was thirteen and fourteen years old, and she was fourteen at the time of publishing in 2013. Now, Mae no longer writes poetry, but is a songwriter. She has released two EPs and a double sided single, and her debut album is due for release in April of 2024.Mae Krell is a teenage girl, aged fourteen when published. She lives in New York City, and recently discovered her love of writing as a result of her eighth grade teacher. She aspires to become a musician in the future, but would like to do as much as she possibly can with her life. Since beginning to write, she has built a name for herself though her instagram accounts, @eeriebones and @maekrell, which combined have over 25,000 followers. She hopes to one day be able to inspire others to work towards achieving whatever they'd like to, without letting age hold them back.
