Michelle McAllister earned a bachelor's degree in Gerontology from Purdue University. She has volunteered and worked in various hospital and home healthcare facilities and currently facilitates a support group for caregivers of Alzheimer patients. She lives in Cedar Lake, Indiana, where she is working on her second book.
