This stage adaptation for one actor by Gillian Greer was premiered in 2023 at Soho Theatre, London, in a co-production between Metal Rabbit Productions and Soho Theatre and directed by Sara Joyce.

Author Biography

Eliza Clark is a writer from Newcastle, living in London, where she attended Chelsea College of Art. Her debut novel, Boy Parts (2020), was Blackwell's Fiction Book of the Year and a finalist for the Women's Prize Futures Award. She was selected as one of Granta's Best of Young British Novelists in 2023.

Gillian Greer is a playwright and dramaturg from Dublin.

Her plays include: Boy Parts, adapted from the novel by Eliza Clark (Soho Theatre, 2023); Meat (Theatre503, London, 2020; a finalist in the 2018 International Playwriting Award); and Petals (nominated for the Irish Times Theatre Award for Best New Play in 2015).

As a dramaturg, she has worked at the National Theatre, VAULT Festival, Clean Break Theatre Company, The Mercury Theatre and many more. She was appointed Literary Manager of Soho Theatre, London, in 2019.
