The author graduated from Middlebury College and worked as an advertising copywriter in New York and Los Angeles for ten years before starting a food marketing and distribution company. He and his wife Kate live in Cohasset, Massachusetts with their two dogs and a cat and enjoy spending time with their four grown children on Nantucket island.
