The first edition covered all of the bases on the topic, but this revision attempts to clear up some of the gray areas and allows the author, with more than ten years of consulting and training to organizations, share his insights about how to stay out of court. Sexual harassment complaints can cause not only public embarrassment, but also monetary losses from health claims and loss of employee productivity. Add in the considerable financial loss resulting from lawsuits, even if the organization is found to be not liable, and the question is not should employers take reasonable steps to prevent or correct promptly any sexually harassing behavior, but more how do they take those reasonable steps.
