As an adult I continue to find myself in awe by how much children teach us. One of the most valuable lessons is how much even the simplest of days can become the ones we remember most. Taking a walk, riding bikes, going to the park, singing, counting, dancing, snuggling, enjoying a meal, and all of life's other simple pleasures are truly what it means to live happily. "Good Morning, Sunshine" was written to capture such a simple day-one that may not seem much in the moment but will be continually reflected upon with pleasure. My children, like yours, continue to grow quickly. While we cannot freeze or turn back time, we can make the most of each moment.
