Children will learn how to use the potty through routine processes, tasks and rewards. It's fun to see this modern day version of potty training. Children love to read about their experiences and see themselves in the books that they read, and I think Ava's story will be one of those books that very young children can identify with. The story includes relevant examples so kids can relate and get over their anxiety about having one themselves. In the end, the author highlights Mom's Rules!, helpful for teaching children how to establish good and healthy habits. The story feels cinematic, mimics immediacy and suspense, and makes it easy for kids to visualize. Captivating, educating and will help children at this stage. It can also serve as a good bed time story. The author has done a great job bringing an often overlooked topic to a child's bookshelf.
