Eva, the single mother just starting her career, faces a crossroads of her own. A crossroads that has her frightened and confused. She is frightened not only for herself but for her infant daughter as well. Her fear is not just for the new job or her new life as a single mother, but more basic than that, she has no experience with a newborn.

Carly, the infant daughter, seems not to care about any of that. She does seem to care about Copper, the puppy she meets.
