Author Biography

Terry Haydn is Emeritus Professor of Education at the University of East Anglia. Before working in teacher education, he worked at an inner-city comprehensive in Manchester.

Alison Stephen is Director of Humanities at Abraham Moss Community School, Manchester, and has written articles on history teaching for Teaching History.
