I am a Registered Scientist and a final year PhD student in antibiotics resistance and biophysics, I have spent three years in research laboratories and around research students. I have learnt a lot by seeing students who are not self-motivated and have difficulty researching, due to the state of their mental health as they feel pressurised. Another main factor is time management- as a student, it is essential to socialise as well as revise for an exam and write their reports, assignments or preparing for their presentations.
