Author Biography
Isabella Rossellini is an award-winning actress, filmmaker, model, and author. The daughter of screen legend Ingrid Bergman and Italian neorealist director Roberto Rossellini, she rose to international fame through her work in films such as Blue Velvet and Death Becomes Her, and as the iconic face of Lancôme for over four decades.
A lifelong advocate for nature, Rossellini combined her artistry with her academic studies in a master's degree program in Animal Behavior and Conservation. Rossellini owns and operates Mama Farm, an organic farm on Long Island, New York, where she raises heritage breeds, including the chickens featured in My Chickens and I. She is also the author of several books, including the memoir Some of Me. She continues to appear in film and television, most recently receiving an Academy Award nomination for her role in the 2024 film Conclave.
