This is the story of my life as a Jewish PhD, who became a top associate within the New York Mafia. I was also a psychotherapist for many deadly gangsters while serving as an executive of the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission. This position enabled me to do many favors for high-level gangsters, many of whom owned limousine companies but who were too notorious to get them legally registered without my help. Some of the gangsters I was close to included Alphonse Persico, Christy TIck Furnari, Jumbo Furnari, Gaspipe Casso, Vittorio "Little Vic" Amuso and many, many others, I was deeply involved with the Lucchese and the Columbo families in particular, but also had dealings with the Gambinos. I worked with dangerous gangsters on a daily basis, many of whom had killed dozen and even hundreds of men. This is how I survived.
