Ortmann is a member of The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF), The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (NCSPP) and is one of the founding members of the Community-Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities (CARAS). Richard Sprott, Ph.D., is a research psychologist in developmental science and lecturer in the Department of Human Development and Women's Studies at California State University, East Bay.
