Alexandra Dannenmann was born in Stuttgart, and is married with one son. She started out in the world of fashion, but moved into illustration and writing in 1997.
Alexandra has now written and illustrated over 20 children's books, and has published 4 novels.
However, her true passion lies in illustrating colouring books. Her second colouring book "The Secret of the Sea" has recently been published as a follow-up to "The Secret of the Forest." It is another magical colouring book with 45 richly detailed hand-drawn illustrations, sweeping readers into an extraordinary underwater world complete with many weird and wonderful inhabitants.
Alexandra is currently working on her fifth colouring book.
