Kendall believed that Americans would come to actively realize the conservatism which they had always actually lived.Willmoore Kendall (1909-1967) was a Yale professor of political science, Rhodes scholar, senior editor of National Review, bureaucratic chief at the State Department and CIA, and author of numerous books and articles on military intelligence, psychological warfare, classical political philosophy, and the American political tradition.
Daniel McCarthy is the editor of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute's journal Modern Age and was previously editor of The American Conservative. He is also the director of the Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship Program.
