Danio knew the clearing at the foothills, where the troops were headed because he'd spent days there exploring the bush and surroundings. He predicted that the Tremlite troops and the Scaysborough troops would be on opposite sides of the great lake and the potential attacks would happen here at the edge of the vast water.

They needed to get to the lake and plead wisdom to both sides and alert them of the errors in their fabled reasoning. The talk had taken hold and the Lurkin be ripe for satisfaction...and suffer the fool who delves into the truth of the whisper.
