In 1967 in Tanzania, Africa, B.H. Clendennen received this message concerning The Prodigal Church. In 2001 at the annual School of Christ International Preachers' convention in Beaumont Texas, he preached this message again to a gathering of several hundred believers. B.H. CLENDENNEN (1992-2009) has been likened by those who knew him best, to John Wesley or Hudson Taylor. He was saved in 1949 and called to full time evangelistic ministry in 1953. After 35 years of pastoral ministry in Beaumont Texas he pioneered a new missionary movement in 1992 in Russia, which he called School of Christ International, which was used of God to reach out into 150 nations by the time of his death in December 2009. He was a man of prayer, a man of fire, a preacher, teacher, author and missionary statesman. He has left an amazing legacy behind him.
