When I began my journey 42 years ago, there was no internet. Everything I learned about bodybuilding and weight training came from reading muscle magazines and any books I could lay my hands on, personal experimentation and listening to the experiences of others. Much of what I read and listened to was based more upon myths and folklore than actual reality. There are a plethora of books and internet websites that already cover those topics in far greater detail and much more eloquently than I could ever hope to.
