Author Biography

Michael O'Grady has spent over 75% of his working life in the world of higher education and has a wealth of experience both as a student and lecturer. He has had two careers...in civil engineering and digital media, and has spent many years restoring and developing period homes. Attaining a First Class Honours degree, an MSc and PhD, he has extensive knowledge of the student experience from both sides. His knowledge of teaching, learning, recruitment, project management and self-development (in addition to being a father of two adult children!) puts him in a prime position to offer support and guidance to students embarking on the journey through university and beyond. With over 20 years as a lecturer in Higher Education, Michael has created the Max Your Degree book series specifically for anyone at, or looking to study at university on any level of degree.
