As the two girls learn more about animals that live in fur farms, they realize they must stand up for them -- but how can they help the minks and make a difference?

This is N.M.L. Hazard's first book for children, and features black-and-white spot illustrations from acclaimed illustrator Alice Priestley. This is a contemporary "Ramona the Pest" book for today's newly independent readers.

Author Biography

N.M.L. Hazard is a writer, educator and a veterinarian. She is the author of The Nap-Away Motel, a novel for adult readers. She lives with her family in Toronto.

Alice Priestley's illustrations have appeared in more than a dozen picture books as well as children's novels including The Light Keeper, Mom Marries Mum!, Together and Hush, Mama Loves You. She lives in Toronto with her family.
