Hakeem O. Yusuf is Professor in Global Law and Head of the Law School, Faculty of Business and Law, The Open University, Milton Keynes, UK.

Hugo van der Merwe is the Director of Research, Knowledge and Learning at the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR), South Africa, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Transitional Justice.
