In 2016, The 56 was adapted for BBC Radio 4 and shortlisted for Best Adaptation in the BBC Radio Awards. Matt trained on the National Theatre Directors Programme and as Trainee Director at Leeds Playhouse. He won the Directors Guild Award for Best Newcomer.
