Author Biography

Steve Whitman, Master Maine Guide, has over forty years' experience in fishing and hunting in the northern woods of Maine.

Before retiring, he owned and operated an engineering business for nearly seventeen years and was registered as a professional civil engineer in six states and a professional land surveyor in three states. For the past ten years, he's owned and operated a sporting camp business in northern Maine, where he gets to apply his extensive knowledge of first aid, survival, and tactical training on a regular basis.
