The book has simple explanations of how to read the passages so they are effective when listened to. There's also a brief scientific and neurological account of what happens to our emotions when we listen to effective guided imagery passages. During her career Eileen has been a psychotherapist, she's trained therapists, and written therapeutic articles and courses. Here she has written down her techniques with a wish to share the approach with others. It's easy to do once you get the hang of it, and the words are already there for you so you don't have to think about what to say next.
