It's been nine years since Alice left Wonderland, and everything's gone downhill. Taxes are rising, hopes are falling, and rebellious graffiti is the order of the day. Looking for a savior, he finds instead Breca, a young woman trying to outrun Death, who has developed an irrational crush on her. Desperate to get as far away as possible, she agrees to pretend to be Alice, leading to otherworldly love triangles, poetry recitations, and mass confusion. In other words, all in a day's work. Breca, meet Wonderland. Wonderland, meet Alice.
